Everyone is trying to bring me up to speed with all the new electronic gizmos, cell phones, IPods and the list goes on. Now they say I have to learn to blog. Reminds me of the panic I went through when my kids tossed out my IBM typewriter and got me a computer. So please be patient and bear with me while I try to figure out what I'm doing.
If you have any questions about my books, I'll be happy to try to answer them.

LOVE the sisterhood series and have read ALL, including Fast Track. Waiting patiently? for the next 2 books and their titles.
I have gotten my entire community interested in reading those "Ladies of Pinewood" stories. Keep up the good work!!
My 89-year old mother has discovered "Fern". Due to macular degeneration she can't read anymore so she gets books-on-tape. Her tape machine was acting up in the middle of listening to "For All Their Lives". She had a new tape machine still in its box. Afraid the old one might conk out while listening to the tape, at 9 pm last night (when she's usually in bed) she got out the new machine, plugged it into the outlet on the first try and plugged the earphone into the correct one of four outlets. These things are usually very difficult for her to do because of the vision loss. Talk about a motivating book!!! Thanks for giving my mother something so entertaining. Haven't heard her this enthusiastic about something in a long time.
Blog or no blog I hope you continue writing forever. I accidently came across one of your stories several years back I felt such an overwhelming connection to your stories, characters, and even with you. I enjoy the little escape it allows me when I engulf myself into a story. Your books come to life and offer me such inspiration and hope of how life can be great for anyone, and how women really can do anything they put their mind to. Thank you for being Fern!!!
Well, Mom finally finished listening to "For All Their Lives" and immediately call the Books for the Blind to get the publisher's address so she could send you a letter. I hope the publisher forwards her letter to you. Please forgive her writing as she has a vision loss and some times it is not clear, but she tries. Thanks again for giving her something that really kept her interest.
Dear Fern: What book introduced us to Big Pine Mountain and the men who lived there before the Sisterhood? I read it and have forgotten the title. Will there be a series following him and his father? Thanks! Bobbi
Dear Ms.Michaels, I believe that I have read every book you have written. I cannot tell you how much pleasure I have received from your books. My favorite is Three Wishes, and of course the Sisterhood series. As a former police commissioner I enjoy hearing about the "dogs" that are on the police force. The police dept. in your community is very fortunate to have you champion for them. Keep on writing for your fans to enjoy. Jeannie Laik

I have been reading your books for years. I really enjoy the Sisterhood series. Each time the next one comes out my friends and I call each other to see who bought it first. We are anxiously awaiting Final Justice.
Hi Fern, LOVE LOVE LOVE the Sisterhood......have told all my "reading" friends about them. I am now finished with Final Justice and shall patiently await your next book...You have struck gold with these ladies, don't ever let them go!!! I run into people in book stores when looking for the next book and we strick up conversations about the "girls" They are very much apart of alot of us!!
Hi Fern,
I must say I am not a "romantic fanatic" I buy them but never read them. I was home alone on a friday, it was 2am. I wasn't tired, nor did I want to watch T.V.
I went to my book shelf and just stared for a few moments (maybe I was tired) I saw my copy of Pretty Woman (I had picked it up in my travels and just set it on the shelf)
Now I am one of theose people that will read the first few pages of a book, not be interested and put it down. I have to tell you I was unable to do that with your book. I read the first chapter that night. I read until Chapter 12 on Saterday and finished the book Sunday evening. This was one of the best books I have ever read. Your eye for detail painted a picture for me on every page. I have been telling everyone I know about this book, and truly think it would make a wonderful movie.
You have amazing talent. Thank-you for sharing that with the world, with me.
I really could see myself as Rosie minus the wonderball money of course.
I recently sent my man of seven years packing because I never really felt like he cared. I put on alot of weight while I was in that unhappy, unhealthy relationship. While I will not be participating in a triathlon anytime soon, I have been watching what I eat, excercising regularily and I am always dreaming of finding my Jack.
I feel very fortunate that I stumbled into this book and cannot wait until I find the next Fern book. Any suggestions?
Thank-you again,
Jennifer
